“When you look good, you feel good.”

Styling Since: 2000

Chrissy first got interested in hair during high school, and she’s gone on to achieve a lot since then. In fact, she says that one of the things she’s most proud of in her life is the progress she’s made in her career. “It’s truly empowering to take everything I’ve learned about the science and art of hair styling, and use it to make something that’s unique and creative,” she says.

Chrissy’s approach to style is just as unique as her approach to hair. She’s a real student of the craft, and she finds inspiration in places where a lot of stylists wouldn’t think to look. “My favorite fashion trend has to be anything from the 40s era,” she says. “It was sophisticated, elegant, and it’s been able to be adapted into any decade. Simple, classy, and clean cut.”

When she’s not in the shop, Chrissy spends time relaxing at home with her boyfriend, Steve, and their two dogs, Max and Lillian. She enjoys cooking healthy, delicious food, working out, and watching old movies.

In her own words:

I’ve always wanted to learn how to play bass guitar, or how to pluck an upright bass, rockabilly style.

I couldn’t pick just one style icon, but I can narrow it down to Greta Garbo and Grace Kelly. Their looks were timeless, and, of course, they had fabulous hair. It always looked soft and natural. Everything was fashioned around enhancing their natural beauty.
